No partying and no heavy drinking to celebrate my birthday this year. I had told Elissa that all I really wanted to do was nothing. I just wanted to relax and kick back. I had asked her not to plan anything, not even dinner. It's been a really busy year for the both of us so when Elissa woke me up on the morning of my birthday and told me we were escaping to Lake Tahoe for the weekend, it was perfect.
As long as I have lived in California, I have yet to visit Tahoe. I am glad to have gotten to share this time with my new fiance. Definitely an awesome getaway celebrating my birthday and fresh engagement. The fresh Tahoe water and air was necessary.
